Neste encontro, vamos mergulhar no conto “Vasalisa, a Sabida” (Clarissa Pinkola Estés) — um caminho profundo de amadurecimento psíquico, escuta interior e coragem.
A leitura simbólica do capítulo nos guiará em um processo de pintura integrativa, para expressar o que não cabe apenas nas palavras.

Há histórias que não apenas se leem — elas nos atravessam.
​“Vasalisa, a Sabida”, do livro Mulheres que Correm com os Lobos, é uma dessas histórias. Um conto ancestral, repleto de símbolos e camadas profundas, que fala direto ao coração da mulher intuitiva, mesmo quando ela ainda está aprendendo a escutar essa voz interna.
Neste capítulo, acompanhamos a jornada de Vasalisa, uma jovem guiada por uma bonequinha dada por sua mãe — um símbolo poderoso da intuição feminina. Em seu caminho, ela encontra sombras, desafios e a temida Baba Yaga — a senhora da floresta, da morte simbólica, do saber selvagem. Mas é nesse território desconhecido que Vasalisa começa a se reconhecer como mulher inteira. Ela aprende a confiar em sua sabedoria interior, a discernir, a seguir sua verdade.

Este é um conto sobre crescer por dentro. Sobre ouvir a alma. Sobre caminhar com coragem no escuro, com uma pequena luz própria nas mãos.

In this meeting, we will dive into the short story “Vasalisa the Wise” (Clarissa Pinkola Estés) - a profound path of psychic maturation, inner listening and courage.
The symbolic reading of the chapter will guide us through a process of integrative painting, to express what cannot be expressed in words alone.
It's not necessary to know how to paint - here, art is a form of listening, not a performance
Some stories are not just read - they move through us.
“Vasalisa the Wise”, from Women Who Run with the Wolves, is one of those stories. An ancestral tale, rich in symbols and depth, that speaks directly to the heart of the intuitive woman — even when she is still learning how to hear her inner voice.

In this chapter, we follow Vasalisa, a young girl guided by a small doll gifted to her by her mother — a powerful symbol of feminine intuition. Along her journey, she meets shadows, trials, and the fearsome Baba Yaga — the forest witch, the keeper of wild wisdom, the one who brings symbolic death and transformation. It is in this unfamiliar, dark territory that Vasalisa begins to recognize herself as a whole woman. She learns to trust her inner knowing, to discern, and to walk her own path.

This is a tale about growing from within. About listening to the soul. About walking courageously in the dark, with a little light of your own in your hands.

That's why in this Thematic Reading + Integrative Painting, we're going to explore this chapter not just with our minds, but with our bodies and with colors. Through symbolic reading and intuitive art, we'll dive into our own journeys of maturation - opening up space for listening, expression and reconnection with the wisdom that already lives within us.
